Hi Dinesh,
I am using the theme “Wilson”. I translated some of its strings. Also using the translated version (into Bengali) of WordPress 4.0 from https://bn.wordpress.org/ .
I am trying to use a specific Bengali font called “BNG” for my Bengali language site and uploaded it using Any Fonts.
1. I assigned all styles in the settings, but still some of the elements are not displayed in the embedded and intended font. For example, the text inside the comment form input boxes (both placeholders and user inputed text) and the placeholder inside the searchbox don’t show up in the embedded/intended “BNG” font. The font sizes are also slightly bigger.
2. The sizes of the font in different elements went a bit haywire. For example, the headings of the static homepage, blogposts, archive etc became significantly bigger than the site title – which was not intended and was not so before using Any Fonts. Looks bad. Site title needs to be at least slightly bigger and others smaller relative to that. Different Menu items (the 3 links inside the darker grey box on the left side bar) looks slightly different from each other in size. Which is really ugly. It wasn’t like this either before Any Font.
What can I do to rectify these problems?

Each font have different font size. So the font size are differ due to the font you have used.
But you can always decrease / increase that by font size css property.
Thanks
October 13, 2014 at 12:33 pm #3589Mon MajhiGuestThat’s one of my point. I have used ONLY 1 font – NOT multiple fonts. Then why is it still coming out in multiple fonts – especially the comment form and searchbox placeholder texts and the Post button label text. These are showing up in an un-uploaded, un-intended font. Please refer to the first pic. How can I rectify these?
October 14, 2014 at 3:41 pm #3591DineshKeymasterAs reference to the the search box text, you haven’t assign font to it.
And it is taking “Lato”,sans-serif font. If you check style.css in Line 371, you will find it.
Please assign your font to those elements as well.
Thanks
October 20, 2014 at 10:24 pm #3637Mon MajhiGuestHi Dinesh,
Solved the font related problems. Just one final question though. Any Font converted my original font into 2 formats – eot and woff. But is it possible to use woff2, eot?#iefix, ttf and svg formats also with Any Font? I have my original font in these formats too. How can I use these formats as alternative/fallback formats alongside the woff and eot provided by Any Font and make them work with Any Font – so that Any Font can can fallback to any of these formats if woff and eot doesn’t work for some reason? What changes or modification should I make – and where – to achieve this goal?
Thanks!
October 22, 2014 at 9:37 am #3646DineshKeymasterHi Mon,
Those 2 fonts format are specially fine for all of the devices currently in market. So i don’t think that having more fonts format is good idea.
Thanks
