Font won't upload/convert – D Ness Car Key

I’m attempting to use the Landsdowne font on my site.

I have a validated API key, but the when I press upload a quickly disappearing error message says ‘unable to convert font’ or something along those lines.

I’ve disabled all other plugins. I’ve tried the additional settings one at a time. Still no luck. The font claims to be 100% free to use.
