Not switching to mobile theme from apps

I’m getting reports that the mobile theme isn’t being used on mobile devices when someone enters the site through a share from an app — specifically, when someone clicks on a link from within the LinkedIn app, the site shows up with the main theme. When they enter through safari itself, it works correctly. It sounds like the switcher isn’t detecting some apps correctly — is there a way to tell it to switch to the mobile theme if the screen width is under a certain size? Or is there some other way to fix this?

Hi Russ,

Our plugin switches the theme as per the user agent it gets and not regarding the device width. May be the app browser is not using the user agent properly ? Any chance you can check what useragent it sends ?
