Overwriting custom validation (name field)

Hi there,
Noticed that it is over-writing my custom validation (“The first and last name fields are required.”) entered under field settings for the Name (first/last) specifically in the GF – I know you can customize the error messages but I also need the specificity for accessibility reasons. Is there a way to fix that/get it to listen if there’s already a custom message within Gravity Forms?

Hi Allison,

Since our validation is javascript based, it is trigger first before the Gravity Form validation. So it shouldn’y overwrite it. Any chance you can send me your form url, i will check and let you know.
