GuestHi Dness
I am using Salient theme and the typefaces – RM Neue Regular and RM Neue Light. https://cotypefoundry.com/our-fonts/rm-neue/
For some reason the RM Neue Regular o on my website looks VERY bold in Chrome. In Safari it’s less so but tracked out too much – more than Chrome. On iphone it looks like a different font.
Any ideas on how to make them look better?
Cheers!

KeymasterHi Patrick,
I tested it in multiple devices using browserstack and i don’t see much difference. However, slight difference is quite common in font embed in different browsers.

Thanks

GuestHey Dinesh thanks for the reply. The difference is quite bad to my eye. Is there any way i can make the appearance closer to the actual webfont: https://cotypefoundry.com/our-fonts/rm-neue/

GuestAlso, I have noticed that you have charged my credit card twice. Can you please check and cancel the second pending transaction.

KeymasterHi Patrick,
I compared with the demo font and the font used in your website. But i don’t see much difference there. You can check this video. https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/video/390819?key=21461189ad141b76ec25fa5b16e67e62
However, though you are using regular font variation, heading tags by default using bold font weight. So the font is bold in your website. You can remove font weight for those heading if you want. For that you can use this css to force them not to make it bold.
h1, h2, h3, h4, h5{font-weight:normal !important;}
Regarding the payment, i checked our account but there is not double payment from this email. p######k@c#########n.com.au. Can you please check your statement if you are charged twice for it ?
Thanks

GuestHi Dinesh
Thanks for the reply.
I discovered that the theme I am using – Salient – specifically the ‘highlighted text’ element appears to bold the text, which is why it was too strong.
And regarding the payment, the bank had the issue, not your system.
So apologies on both requests!

KeymasterHi Patrick,
No worries. Glad the problem is solved.
If you have a few mins for us, can you please write us a review for our plugin at https://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/use-any-font?filter=5 ? This will help us grow and makes easier for others to decide to use the plugin.
Thanks
