The Plugin won\'t let me upload fonts

I tried on two different websites, and I am facing the same issue on both sites. I am getting the following error messages:

Convert Response is Empty. Please try again enabling alternative uploader from Additional settings below.

I tried enabling alternative uploader (Need PHP Curl). but that didnt work either

Couldn’t receive font file for conversion
